For every book we make, our team at Oak Tree Comics donates to an environmental non-profit. Below you can read more about each book and the cause it supports:
For every copy of Do You Speak Tree? and Do You Speak Bear? that Oak Tree Comics prints, Oak Tree Comics donates a dollar to One Tree Planted, a non-profit 501(c)(3). As the books speak up for the trees and all the animals who call the forest home, we couldn't be prouder of the partnership. So far, the books have helped plant more than 2500 trees and counting.
For the forthcoming third book in the series Do You Speak Bee?, Oak Tree Comics will be donating a dollar per book printed to the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers and Native Plants, a non-profit 501(c)(3) local to Los Angeles.
Our series Thorn the Unicorn was originally published as individual comic books. For each comic book that was printed, Oak Tree Comics donated a dollar to One Tree Planted to plant a tree.
The full-length graphic novel of Thorn the Unicorn and its companion piece The Weird Animal Hour will debut in the fall of 2024. More news will be coming soon about those upcoming projects and the non-profits that they support.
