With a background in children’s fashion, Sandra Martinez Roe has been focused on this age group for over two decades and is thrilled to blend her career experience with her personal passion for the environment.
Adalgisa Nico
Adalgisa “Gisa” Nico loves the National Parks and their junior ranger programs. She has been an educator for over 25 years and collects children’s picture books. She hopes to inspire others to visit the National Parks and find joy in learning about the animals, plants, and history at each park.
Josh Oaktree
Josh Oaktree is the founder and manager of Oak Tree Comics, an independent publisher where imagination meets environmentalism. His award-winning books for young and middle-grade readers include the Art & Oakie Ask series, Thorn the Unicorn, and The Weird Animal Hour. When not brainstorming his next book, Josh loves exploring all the wonderful nature Los Angeles has to offer.
