Plan a School Event with

Oak Tree Comics is a proud member of Earth Club, a growing community of Los Angeles children's book authors who can help you plan a school event that celebrates our planet.
What is Earth Club?
Inspired by a picture book by Sandra Martinez Roe, Earth Club is a collective of local authors who believe stories can inspire the next generation to be joyful environmental stewards. Whether you are looking to organize an eco-minded school assembly or a fun literacy night, we can help!
At Earth Club, Earth Day is any day!

TO Host AN EVENT, FOLLOW THESE 3 EASY STEPS
Step 1: Email info@oaktreecomics.com with any relevant info about your event idea and proposed date(s). Author Josh Oaktree will plan with you, in coordination with Earth Club.
Step 2: Once your event is scheduled, Earth Club will design a flyer for your event. The flyer will include a QR code to the Earth Club Shop where parents can pre-order books. As Earth Club does not ask for a stipend, we appreciate you encouraging parents to order in advance.
Step 3: The last step is... hosting your event! Your event could include... read-alouds, author meet-and-greets, upcycled arts and crafts, or whatever other great idea you want to organize with Earth Club! We're excited to brainstorm with you.
