ABOUT THE STORY: In Art and Oakie's second adventure, they speak up for all the animals who call the forest home. When Art forgets her school lunch, Oakie the good-natured oak tree sets out on a mission to return it to her. Along the way, Oakie makes an unexpected friend (Bear, of course), who likes the smell of Art's lunch. 
 
When Art learns the woods where Bear lives have been cut down, she draws up a plan to save the day. Along with her classmates, Art and Oakie start a wildlife reserve for all the animals of the forest.
