Before founding Oak Tree Comics,  author Josh Oaktree independently published an anthology of memories with his cousins about their grandfather, retailer and philanthropist Albert Boscov. The book, Did You Boscov Today?, features over 100 stories about their grandfather as told by those who knew and loved him.
 
If you never had the chance to meet him, Albert Boscov was equal parts retail legend, community hero, a jumping cheerleader, and a loving family man. In his life, he grew his father's corner store into a family-owned department store called Boscov's. Wherever there's a Boscov's, the store looks to give back to the community.
 
Before he passed, the community gave back to Albert one last time in a miraculous way. When he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in late 2016, thousands of letters arrived by mail, email, and Facebook, sending love, prayers, and in those letters, hundreds of stories. Those stories—some silly, some inspiring—inspired Josh and his cousins, Amelia and Jonah, to create this book. In reading it, you'll gain a sense of what a wonderful human being Albert Boscov was.
